Kings Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category presented by HRH Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester and Lord Lieutenant Mrs Amanda Parker

On Friday 24th November, Chemical Processing Services Ltd Managing Director Paul H. Jones was formally presented with the King’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category by HRH Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester and Lord Lieutenant Mrs Amanda Parker of Lancashire.

The award was received for the new disruptive Furalkamine bio technology that Paul has developed and Patented with CPS. This new series of polymer products is derived from a sustainable waste biomass and allows the generation of specialist matrix and coating systems that are highly resistant to acidic media. These polymers form part of a series of new Patented technology being licenced by CPS to improve performance, reduce product hazard classification and the reliance on petrochemical feedstocks. Paul Jones FRSC, Managing Director and already a current Queens award recipient for innovative products developed for Bitrez and Anacarda products said: “I’m delighted that CPS has won the Inaugural King’s Award for Enterprise especially in the innovation category. It was a pleasure to be presented with the award by HRH the Duke of Gloucester and the Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire, Mrs Amanda Parker“.
